Leave no voter behind: How to arrange shared rides to the polls

Leave no voter behind!
As Republicans make it harder to vote, use the free MakeItFast app to match volunteer drivers with voters who need a ride to the polls. Seniors, the disabled, those living in remote areas, or others coping with high gas prices.
Think of MakeItFast as a small private radio station except it is online. People subscribe to the channel which broadcasts when rides are available. Voters can 'call in' from their phones or laptops to request a ride. Volunteers 'call in' to let others when they can provide a ride. Organizers can also choose to match voters needing a ride with volunteer drivers and buses manually.
And just like with a radio station, there is privacy for the subscribers to a channel. There's no app to install. No personal details nor phone number to share.
How to set up a Ride To Vote channel
Create a free MakeItFast account. Choose the name for your 'channel' on one screen. You can make your channel:
1. Broadcast only (no comments from scubscribers)
2. Allow 'call in' messages from subscribers (both voters and volunteers) only to you so you can match voters and volunteers manually.
3. Allow 'call in' messages from subscribers (both voters and volunteers) to you and other subscribers so they can connect directly for rides.

Once you've created your 'Ride To Vote' channel, let others subscribe to it with a URL or QR Code. People do NOT have to instal an app, nor provide any details about themselves to subscribe or 'call in' to request or give a ride. Subscribe from any (Mac, Windows or Android) phone or laptop.

10 Reasons To Vote Early
Nearly every state gives us a way to cast our ballots before Election Day, but it looks different depending on where you are. Some states offer traditional early in person voting, and others like Oregon, conduct elections primarily by mail. Alabama, Mississippi, and New Hampshire are the only three states that don’t offer universal early in person voting.
YOU’RE NOT BETTING EVERYTHING ON ONE DAY. Schedules change at work, sick family member, transportation problem, bad weather, or a unexpectedly long line can turn your plans into a stressful one quickly. Most of the time, people aren’t missing elections because they stopped caring, they’re dealing with life happening on the exact day they planned to vote.
Early voting reduces how much your participation depends on that single day going smoothly. In many states, voters have a window of several days or weeks to cast a ballot before Election Day, and some states also provide a weekend of voting. These windows range from 3 to 46 days, according to NCSLs current early voter guide. - 50501 Movement
