ICE RELATED DEATHS: App remembers their lives

• What to know about the fatal shooting of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by ICE - PBS
• More than eight people have died in dealings with ICE so far in 2026. These are their stories. The high-profile killings of Minneapolis residents Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good are only two among many - The Guardian
• Organizing for the liberation of information, minds, bodies, & societies. - #DetentionKills

How do you keep track of the mounting death count in ICE encounters? The numbers keep growing and it's hard to keep websites updated.

I created the ICE RELATED DEATHS app in about three hours with the free MakeItFast app to remember their lives. Data for the app is entered into a spreadsheet and automatically updates the app. The app can be used on a phone or laptop and does not require any download or registration.

Sadly, as more people die in encounters with ICE, it is simple to add those details into the spreadsheet. I so wish, I did not have to create this app, but it's a small way of honoring their lives cut short by ICE.

TakeAway: Remember those killed by ICE. It could soon be someone you know. Who decided to cut money from healthcare and food stamps to give billions of your tax dollars to ICE? Hold them accountable.
