How PROJECT 2025 Turns Women Into Handmaids

The Handmaid's Tale is fictional story about women forced into sexual slavery after a group of white Christian Nationalist men take over the U.S. government and disenfranchise women.

The Handmaid's Tale is supposed to be fictional, but with women being jailed for abortions in Texas and abortions being banned in Arizona, it is coming very close to reality. Compare the laws in Handmaid's Tale with what is happening in MAGA led states, and what might happen next in the Republican War on Women.

The Handmaid's Tale

"The Handmaid's Tale is the story of Offred, a woman forced into sexual slavery after a group of ultra conservative, extremely religious white men take over the U.S. government and disenfranchise women, non-Protestants, gay people, and people of color. Offred is now a so-called handmaid required to sleep with Fred (the man who owns her), a married military commander whose wife is infertile. Her sole purpose is to produce a child. Abortion is illegal, and women are controlled by male leaders whose scheme is to block women's autonomy over their own bodies." - Marie Claire

Understand Project 2025 plan for women

On women losing the right to vote
On contraception being illegal
On women and free movement
On violence against women allowed (because rape and incest are so hard to prove in court and so many "exceptions" require it)
On no education for women  (because IVF has allowed women to get higher education and advanced degrees, delaying childbirth)
On medical treatments banned
