How WHITE Billionaires Rig The Justice System To Keep BLACK Women Poor

Two white Trump appointed justices stop investments invest in Black women startups

What gives? Why make it harder for Black women entrepreneurs than it already is? Who is Edward Blum the person behind the lawsuit? Who funded Blum's SFFA group? What does this have to do with McConnell stacking the Supreme Court with right wing partisans? Leonard Leo? Harlan Crow? Koch Industries? Any connection to Clarence Thomas' luxury vacations with billionaires?

Follow the money with this relationship map to see how White billionaires have rigged the system to exploit hard working Americans and deny Black and HIspanic women their chance to succeed

"When I try to find a job, To earn a little cash,
All you got to offer, Is your mean, old, white backlash
But the world is big, Big and bright and round.

And it's full of folks like me, Who are black, yellow, beige, and brown
Mr. Backlash, Just what do you think I got to lose?

You're the one who'll have the blues, not me.Mr. Backlash.
I'm gon' leave you with the backlash blues.

Just wait and see!"
- Nina Simone in Blacklash recorded in 1967

How billionaires have rigged the system to keep Black women poor

How billionaires have rigged the system

Start by allowing dark money into politics so billionaires can fund their favorite politician. Supreme Court passes Citizens United.
Allow racist voter suppression to make it harder for low income and people of color to vote. This gives the rich and powerful a louder voice.
Roberts Supreme Court guts the Voting Rights Act and allows racist gerrymandering.
Bend the rules to stop qualified justices and then stack the Supreme Court with right wing extremists.
Mitch McConnell blocks hearing for Merrick Garland and then rushes to appoint Kavanaugh, Barrett and Gorsuch.
Take Supreme Court justices on luxury vacations and give them other gifts.
Thomas and Alito pass rulings that benefit their billionaire benefactors.
Fund conservative activists to bring lawsuits in front of GOP packed courts with Trump appointees.
Strip women, people of color and low income Americans of their freedoms.
Repeat the cycle.

Denying Black and Hispanic women their opportunity to succeed

"Less than 1% of venture capital funding goes to businesses owned by Black and Hispanic women - Digital Undivided. Just to get that number over 2% would take billions of dollars - Fearless Fund co-founder Arian Simone.

It’s those sort of intentional policies that are under attack from conservative activist groups waging a legal battle against corporate diversity initiatives, an effort that has intensified since the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action in college admissions. The lawsuit against the Fearless Fund was filed by Edward Blum, the conservative activist who filed the affirmative action cases before the Supreme Court. It targets the fund’s Strivers Grant Contest, which awards $20,000 to Black women who run businesses..." - AP

Billionaires fund Edward Blum to deny people of color their rights

Follow the money behind Blum's groups

"SFFA also received a $250,000 donation in 2020 from The 85 Fund, a trust connected to conservative lawyer and Donald Trump ally Leonardo Leo.

SFFA has spent less than $8 million on its affirmative action suits against Harvard and the University of North Carolina, according to Blum. From 2015 to 2020 — the last year for which filings are available — SFFA received more than $8.5 million in contributions to fund their legal battles. Public filings show conservative fund DonorsTrust contributed $2.5 million to SFFA from 2017 to 2019. Their largest contribution — a $1.5 million donation that was more than 50 percent of SFFA’s funding that year — came in 2018. The Searle Freedom Trust also contributed a significant chunk of SFFA’s overall donations, with $500,000 in contributions annually from 2017 to 2019." - The Crimson

TakeAway: Vote for Democrats to unrig this system by which billionaires have corrupted the courts to get richer at the expense of hard working Americans. Blacklash Blues.
