Dirty money. Dirty decisions.
"For years, Allyson Ho has received payments from the Alliance Defending Freedom. When the right-wing advocacy group argued a case in her husband’s court, Judge James Ho cast a decisive vote to cut off remote access to the abortion pill mifepristone. Judge James Ho, who was nominated in 2017 by Trump, wrote his own opinion, agreeing with the majority in part but going even further to argue that the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) approval of mifepristone in 2000 should be invalidated, removing it from the market — as the lower court had concluded.
James Ho did not recuse himself from the case even though his wife, Allyson Ho, has regularly participated in events with and accepted speaking fees from the Alliance Defending Freedom, the conservative Christian legal group whose lawyers argued the mifepristone case before his court, according to the judge’s financial disclosures.
The opinion from James Ho quickly made headlines because he argued that doctors “experience an aesthetic injury” when their patients have abortions, adding: “Unborn babies are a source of profound joy for those who view them.” - Jacobin
Question: How does one see an unborn baby? With a microscope?

Josh Hawley's Wife Faces Calls to Be Sanctioned Over Supreme Court Case
She serves as senior counsel and vice president of the Center for Life and Regulatory Practice at ADF, according to her profile on the group's website. She is one of the leading lawyers representing plaintiffs in a prominent lawsuit seeking to end the Food and Drug Administration's approval of the abortion drug mifepristone after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, a case that Hawley was also involved in.
Erin Morrow Hawley, an attorney and the wife of Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, is facing calls to be sanctioned after it was reported that a man named in the Supreme Court's ruling in a case affecting LGBTQ rights says he had nothing to do with it... But Stewart, who did not give his last name, has now said he was unaware his name was invoked in the lawsuit until he was contacted last week by a reporter from The New Republic.
Stewart's comments to news outlets sparked an outcry on social media and led some to call for Erin Morrow Hawley, who is a senior counsel at ADF, to be sanctioned. "Josh Hawley's wife should be sanctioned," a viral tweet from the @MuellerSheWrote account said. Kaivan Shroff, an attorney, tweeted: "Zero surprise that it was insurrection supporter Josh Hawley's wife, Erin Hawley, who litigated the FAKE 303 Creative case in front of the Supreme Court. She's as dishonest as her husband. The Extreme Court used the totally made up case to illegitimately strip away LGBT+ rights." - Newsweek
