I tested the free version of Audyo by converting with this message about providing Student Debt Relief. Creating the audio version of the message took about 10 minutes.
Provide Student Debt Relief
The message used to create this audio with messages adapted from from Susan Morgan, Melissa Byrne and Paula Brantner.
"Young Americans blame SCOTUS, GOP for unforgiven student loan debt The Supreme Court's six conservative justices recently killed President Biden's historic forgiveness plan. The coming payment resumption carries both economic and political implications. Under Biden's plan, qualifying borrowers would have been forgiven for loans up to $10,000 if they made under $125,000 per year or $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients. Its announcement last summer incited immediate GOP backlash.
Republicans drove the lawsuits challenging it, criticizing it as a "bailout for the wealthy," and GOP presidential candidates immediately praised the Supreme Court's decision."
Student loan interest snowballs
"The extra financial and psychological relief from not having to make payments for nearly three years cannot be emphasized enough. People are literally able to make significant life-changing decisions that they cannot make when the weight of loans is constantly on your back. Having five or six figure debt for literally all of your adult life, never having a positive net worth, never being able to build any kind of cushion or even a margin for error (like that emergency six-months of savings we are all supposed to have). Not just low-wage workers were living paycheck to paycheck, and until income-sensitive repayment was in place, there was no way to adjust your payments to a manageable amount, which meant that you were in a forbearance where the interest amount was snowballing and there was just nothing you could do except watch your balance go higher and higher.
There's a very real human impact that those with student loans will carry their entire life, until they die when they're forgiven, or unless the Administration is able to successfully forgive all (or a substantial part to where it's manageable) to put people back in a place of being able to make those important life decisions and have the security that we all crave and deserve.
We don't have to saddle Millennials and GenXers with life-long debt
... because they believed the only way they could get ahead or pursue the career they want was an education that was beyond their and their families' means when they were 18 years old. Regardless of whether they have the capacity to pay back their loans, their education has proven valuable to their communities and their careers, and they're not just freeloading, but contributing in a way that they simply wouldn't have been able to without that education."
Vote for Democrats to bring relief to students struggling with loan debts.
Creating the audio
Creating the audio file was simple. I pasted the text to convert into Audyo. Chose the voice of the narrator and in a few minutes I was able to download the MP3 audio file. I then converted the link to the audio file into a QR code which make it even easier to listen to the audio.
