Good enough to die but not thrive

The GOP packed Supreme Court banned affirmative action, just not for military academies. Mary Tobin is the daughter of a student who protested to desegregate lunch counters in Nashville, Tennessee. Mary is a West Point graduate, served ten years in the Army and did two tours of Iraq. She sees her service as her own contribution to a longer-term project of making the country a more equitable place. “I grew up with this idea that the wrongs that you see, you must address.”
