"Last November, Republicans took control of the House of Representatives and currently hold a narrow 10-seat margin. 18 of the races that they won were in districts that President Biden carried in 2022. For the most part, these 18 Republicans ran as moderates — claiming they were interested in bipartisanship and delivering for voters. They knew it was the only way they’d win in their otherwise Democratically-leaning districts.
