'Ballot curing' is a two step process that helps voters correct errors in their ballot.
Volunteer to help cure ballots
"A voter who mailed in a ballot may not have it count, for any number of reasons, unless it is timely “cured.” This means calling voters with a ballot problem and helping them fix it. Voters will be very grateful for your help, as you are making sure their votes count. All you need is a computer and a phone. You will be very well trained, and guided at any point you need it. Every ballot cured means that all choices that voter made will be counted. None would, if it weren’t cured. This is vital work." - Heidi Fiske/Bill Sussman.

Volunteer training
Several state Democratic parties are training volunteers and once trained you can call voters to help cure ballots. Curing stops on election night in Michigan and Wisconsin, so they are important to do early. The second most common foreign language in MI is Arabic and they desperately need Arabic speakers for their Voter Assistance Hotline; contact me if you, or anyone you know, can help, and I will pass it along to the MI folks. Here are some upcoming training classes. Training is given at the start of each Zoom shift, and trainers stay on Zoom throughout for questions. You start calling voters during the Zoom shift, after the training. All times are Eastern, except Wisconsin (Central time) and Nevada (Pacific time).
