Stop paying FOX to spread Russian propaganda. #UNFOXmycablebox

How do cable companies force you to pay for FOX even if you don't watch? How does FOX use your money to spread Russian propaganda? What can you do about it? Follow the money.

Cable providers force you to pay a FOX tax even if you don't watch their channel. This money helps FOX spread Russian propaganda. Follow the money to see how you are being forced to pay FOX.

Stop paying the FOX tax

"Your cable or satellite TV provider pays a subscriber fee to carry Fox News. That cost is passed directly on to YOU. Every network charges cable and satellite providers a small fee per subscriber; the one for Fox News is extraordinarily high. A typical household pays Fox News almost $2 per month—about $20 per year— via their cable or satellite provider, regardless of whether they actually watch the channel. A wave of big contracts between Fox News and TV providers for subscriber fees are set to expire. These contracts make up about 65% if Fox News’ subscriber fee revenue. If we want to stop paying the Fox News “tax,” now is the time to act." - #UNFOXMYCABLEBOX

Kremlin praises FOX News

The Kremlin praised Fox News as Putin wages a brutal war against Ukraine. Russian state media and government accounts have promoted commentary from FOX. A leaked memo even instructed such outlets that it was “essential” to feature programming by Fox host Tucker Carlson. Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov praised Fox News for proving an “alternative” perspective on the war. Fox News advertisers and the cable companies who fund Fox News should take note. - Media Matters

Trump praises Putin

"Trump is giving Russian President Vladimir Putin two thumbs up for his decision to recognize two breakaway regions of Ukraine and send troops to the areas. While Putin's actions have received sharp criticism and sanctions from President Biden, Trump was full of praise for the Russian leader. During an interview on the conservative Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, Trump said it was "wonderful," "so smart," and even "genius" for Putin to "declare a big portion of the Ukraine ... as independent." He claimed Putin will now "go in" and "be a peacekeeper." While Putin has said he's sending troops to the breakaway regions as part of a "peacekeeping" mission, Western leaders say he is merely making it easier for Russia to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine." - The Week

TakeAway: #UNFOXMYCABLEBOX lets you escape the FOX tax which helps fund the spread of Russian propaganda in America.
