Over crowded hospitals cause deaths
"Ray DeMonia went to the Cullman Hospital with his cardiac emergency and it did take calls to 43 different hospitals to find him that cardiac ICU bed. If the hospital is full people who need those hospital beds are not going to get them in a timely way. And for some people that`s going to be the end of their life.
As of today, the state of Alabama does not just have zero ICU beds available. The state`s ICU bed availability is in negative territory. They have 0.7 percent negative ICU bed capacity. "Dad would just want things to get back to normal. If people would realize the strain on hospital resources that`s happening right now then that would really be amazing," said his daughter." - Rachel Maddow, MSNBC 9/13/21
Facebook spreads COVID disinfo
"Facebook struggled with how to handle a viral conspiracy video known as “Plandemic,” waffling as the footage spread to the screens of millions of users... the company was blind to assassination-stoking activity on pages with 400,000 members.
Many of Zuckerberg's consolidation tactics have been highly visible: He replaced the outside founders of Instagram and WhatsApp with loyalists, and he refashioned Facebook’s already-friendly board to be even more deferential, swapping out five of its nine members." - NY Times
Blood money profits
"Blood money is money obtained at the cost of another's life." - Miriam Webster
"They're killing people. I mean, it really — look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated and they're killing people," said President Biden when asked what message he had for social media giants as misinformation about the coronavirus swirls.
Press secretary Jen Psaki had said Facebook is not doing enough to stop the spread of misinformation about the virus and the COVID-19 vaccine. Psaki cited a May finding by the Center for Countering Digital Hate that said 12 accounts were responsible for almost 65% of anti-vaccine content and misinformation. Psaki called on the platform to "move more quickly to remove harmful violative posts." - MSN

Facebook investors hypocrisy

BlackRock values. "We are committed to a better future. We are focused on helping people build a better tomorrow. We are deeply invested in the success of all of our stakeholders – our clients, our employees, our shareholders, and the communities where we operate – and we run our business sustainably and responsibly." - Larry Fink, CEO.
Vanguard principles. "We do the right thing. In the end, it's not about us at all. Simply put, serving our communities is the right thing to do. We are stronger together, connected by our belief in integrity, focus, and, of course, stewardship. We aspire to be part of something bigger than ourselves. Vanguard has a long history of contributing to the communities in which we live and work."
