Canvassers improve voter turnout with pledge to vote cards. Digital pledge cards work even better than printed ones.
DemLabs and Deliver My Vote are testing digital Pledge to Vote At Home cards to encourage more potential voters. This solution improves canvasser productivity and cut costs.

Design
A printed pledge card was re-created in digital form with the Survey123 app. Canvassers get the digital Pledge card through this link or by scanning a QR code. Try it by scanning this QR code with your smartphone camera.
Making the pledge
Potential voters fill out the Pledge To Vote card with help from canvassers. Digital cards can also be shared on social media or shared as cards or as stickers with the QR code.
Processing
Pledges are automatically updated to a database and also displayed on a map. This eliminates the effort and time delay involved with collecting paper pledge cards and manually entering them. Information from the database can be exported to update a voter file, print pre-filled voter forms or Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) campaigns.
